Clinicon exists because clinical software in the region was written for hospitals, sold to administrators, and used by nobody. We built the opposite.
Why we built it
Walk into most clinics in the region and the system is a paper diary, a phone that rings during consultations, and a doctor who remembers which patient is which. It works, until it doesn't — a follow-up is missed, a result is lost, a slot sits empty because nobody called to fill it.
The software sold as the alternative was worse. Hospital systems scaled down badly, priced per seat, in English only, needing a week of training and an IT person on call. Clinics bought them, used the appointment screen, and kept the paper for everything else.
Clinicon started from the visit instead of the org chart. A patient is registered, an appointment is booked, the doctor runs the consultation in one screen, and everything that comes out of it — the prescription, the lab order, the certificate, the invoice — is attached to that visit and flows onward without being re-typed. Everything else in the product either feeds that flow or reports on it.
What we hold to
Patients own their data
Not Clinicon, not the clinic. Patients can view, download, share and delete their full record at any time. We are the steward, never the owner — and we don't sell, share, or advertise against a single field of it.
Arabic is not a translation layer
The product is bilingual to the bone. Clinical notes, diagnoses, prescriptions and printed documents all work right-to-left, because that is the language the consultation actually happens in.
The doctor's screen comes first
If a feature adds a click to a consultation, it has to earn it. Focus Mode exists because a doctor should complete a visit — note, prescription, orders, certificate — without navigating anywhere.
Priced per clinic, not per seat
Charging by user makes clinics share logins, which breaks the audit trail and makes the record untrustworthy. We'd rather charge once and have everyone sign in as themselves.
You can leave with everything
Full export, any time, no negotiation. Software that holds your records hostage isn't a product, it's a hostage situation.
Who builds it
Clinicon is built by a small product team working directly with practising clinics — the roadmap comes from watching real consultations, not from a feature request board. If something in the product annoys you, the person who can change it will read your message.
