The landing screen. It answers one question — what needs your attention this morning — and then hands off to the module that can do something about it.

What is on it

  • Needs Attention — a feed of recent system events with a count badge: appointments scheduled or updated, lab orders created or progressed, invoices generated. Each row shows type, priority and date, and links through to the record.
  • Four KPI cards — Appointments (today's count, completed today, completion rate), Tasks (open, urgent), Billing (monthly revenue, collected, collection rate) and Inventory (total items, items needing attention). Each has an arrow to its module.
  • Monthly Revenue & Appointments — a trend over the last seven months.
  • Last 7 Days — daily volume, switchable between Appointments, Patients, Revenue and Spending.
  • Patient Stats, Today's Schedule, Recent Activity and Staff On Duty below the fold.

How to use it well

Treat Needs Attention as your inbox and clear it. Treat the KPI cards as navigation rather than reporting — the numbers there are summaries. For anything you intend to act on financially, open Reports instead.
