Lab orders from creation to result. Orders arrive here from Focus Mode, from a patient record, or from New Lab Order in Quick Actions.
The order lifecycle

Raising an order
- 1Click New Lab Order.
- 2Choose the patient and the ordering doctor.
- 3Set the priority: Routine, Urgent or Stat.
- 4Select the panels. Twenty-four common panels are built in, and anything else goes in Custom test.
- 5Set fasting requirements with the chips — No fasting, Fast 8h, Fast 12h — and add the clinical indication.
- 6Save. The order appears in the lab worklist and on the patient's Lab tab.
Entering results
Open the order, move it to In Progress when the sample is taken, then record each value with its unit and reference range. Flag anything outside range — that flag is what produces the normal / abnormal badge a doctor sees on the Focus Mode rail at the next visit. Mark the order Completed when the report is finalised.
