Every prescription written in the clinic, whether it came out of a consultation or was written directly. Stat cards show Total, Active, Completed and Cancelled; the list is searchable and filterable by status.
Writing a prescription
- 1Click New Prescription, or raise it inside Focus Mode during the consultation — the latter attaches it to the visit automatically.
- 2Select the patient and the prescribing doctor.
- 3Enter the diagnosis. This is required before medications can be added.
- 4Add each medication with its dose, frequency, duration and route, or drop in an Rx template and adjust.
- 5Add instructions for the patient.
- 6Save. The prescription prints on the letterhead configured in Settings → Print & Docs.
Templates are the difference between a thirty-second prescription and a three-minute one. Build them per doctor in Settings → Rx Templates, tagged Adult or Peds, for the twenty things that clinician prescribes every week.
A prescription's status runs Active → Completed, with Cancelled available at any point. Only Admin and Pharmacist can delete one; doctors can edit but not remove, which keeps the clinical record intact.
