Every screen shares the same frame: a grouped sidebar on one side, a top bar across the top, and a content area holding a page title with its primary action, stat cards, filters, and a table or board. Learn it once and the rest of the product is navigation.
The top bar

| Quick Actions | Shortcut menu for the six things people create most: New Appointment, Add Patient, New Prescription, New Invoice, New Lab Order, New Imaging. It works from any screen. |

| Theme toggle | Switches light and dark. The same setting lives in Settings → Appearance. |
| Notifications | Bell with an unread count. Shows appointment, lab, invoice and patient events with a type, priority and date, plus Mark all read and View all notifications. |
| Language | Switches between English and Arabic. Clinicon stores clinical text in whatever language it is typed in — Arabic diagnoses render correctly in lists and on printed documents. |
The sidebar
Modules are grouped by who uses them: Main for the front desk, Clinical for doctors and technicians, Management for administrators, Workspace for rooms and tasks, and Resources for everything outside the clinic. Settings and your own profile sit at the bottom. This guide follows the same order.
Two conventions worth knowing immediately
- Creating anything opens a full page, not a pop-up. Every "New …" button navigates to /dashboard/<module>/new, so those URLs can be bookmarked.
- Lists load progressively. Most modules paint their stat cards at zero and fill in afterwards. A screen showing zeros has usually not finished loading — give it a moment before concluding the data is missing.
